Congratulations to Kaha Nui Farm for their purchase today of our Zousain X Celandine c**t, nicknamed Oscar, after Oscar Piastri, the F1 driver. As he crosses the ditch, dare I say his name might change allegiances to Liam Lawson😀 All the best with the future with him and thankyou so much to Widden Stud and in particular the Victorian team for all their efforts in getting him to sale. A big, big shoutout to Adam Henry who put so much effort into his sale today and always happy to work with such a genuine hard working person. 👏👏👏

Paulele filly Alexa thought it was just grand having breakfast or brunch by then in bed, whilst Nicconi c**t Max wasn't quite ready to relax while eating. Both seem a little lost while their partner in crime, Zousain c**t Oscar has headed off for his weanling prep where reports so far are that he's settled in and doing well. A gorgeous, very rare late Autumn day was had here on the farm.

Congratulations to team Cavanough at Scone for their maiden win of bonny filly Jasira in the Inglis Bonus maiden race at Taree over 1000m. Sitting on the leader and pulling away to win by 2L, to now add to her tally of 3 seconds in her short career so far. She is out of our mare, Cinderella Miss whose Needs Further yearling has also joined a NSW stable.

And can't forget this likeable lad, Reece, the Needs Further X Cinderella Miss gelding as Lot 82 at the 2026 Tasmanian MM Yearlings Sales. He had float training today and he showed us how clever he is by loading twice within 5 minutes with minimal fuss. He reminds me so much in temperament and attitude as two other Needs Further boys I've had alot to do with, Bokeo who I bred and The Spirit Of Zero who I've worked for several years with.
