📣Rowing Tasmania is proud to release its Strategic Plan for 2027–2030, a roadmap for building a stronger, more connected and future-ready rowing community for all Tasmanians.
🤝Developed in close consultation with athletes, coaches, volunteers, clubs, schools and system partners across the state, the plan sets a clear direction for the next four years, one that aligns closely with Rowing Australia's 5+5 Plan and Row Well Strategy to ensure our sport grows in step with the national landscape.
🏆The Strategic Plan is built around five interconnected pillars: Participation & Growth, People & Culture, Governance, Commercial, and Community & System Alignment. Together, they chart a course for delivering safe, inclusive and high-quality experiences for everyone in the sport, strengthening our organisational capability, modernising our systems, and building the partnerships that will underpin Tasmanian rowing's long-term sustainability.
Inside, you'll find:
➡️Our purpose, vision and the values that guide how we work
➡️Clear priorities and measurable goals for each of the five strategic pillars
➡️An implementation timeline spanning foundational work in 2027, accelerated innovation in 2028, and full performance outcomes by 2029–2030
➡️The outcomes we're aiming for by 2030, from growth in participation and volunteer numbers to a stronger school-to-club pathway and an upgraded Lake Barrington facility
🚣We invite every part of the Tasmanian rowing community — clubs, schools, athletes, coaches, volunteers and supporters — to read the plan, share your thoughts, and help us bring it to life.
