🔥🚵♂️ SINGO SUPER SERIES ROUND #5 – RACE REPORT! 🚵♀️🔥

What a day at Pioneer! 💥 Round #5 of the Singleton Mountain Bike Club XC Super Series delivered plenty of fast racing, close battles and some seriously exciting finishes.
From the Kids race all the way through to A Grade, riders were pushing hard, and in several categories the final lap made all the difference! 👊
🔥 A GRADE MEN:
WHAT A BATTLE! This one was seriously close!
Maximus Amidy claimed the A Grade victory over 5 laps, but he had to fight all the way to the finish.
🥇 Maximus Amidy – 5 laps
🥈 Hugo Wawrzonek – 5 laps
🥉 Lincoln Johns – 5 laps
Hugo moved into the lead after four laps, but Maximus wasn't done yet. A strong final lap saw him regain the advantage and take the win!
And it wasn't just the top two fighting it out — Lincoln Johns and Jason English were right in the mix, with the top four separated by only a handful of seconds at the finish. 😮💨🔥
💪 B GRADE MEN:
Another fantastic battle at the front!
🥇 John Olivares-Green – 5 laps
🥈 Liam James – 5 laps
🥉 Glenn Tournier – 5 laps
Dave Tattis looked to have control of the race early, leading the B Grade battle through the opening four laps. But the final lap changed everything!
John Olivares-Green produced a brilliant final lap to move into the lead and take the win, while Liam James also came through strongly to finish 2nd. Glenn Tournier rounded out the podium.
A great example of why XC racing isn't over until you cross that finish line! 🔥🚵♂️
💪 B GRADE WOMEN:
🥇 Melissa Tiplady – 3 laps
🚀 C GRADE MEN:
The C Grade podium was another fantastic battle.
🥇 Arty Olivares – 4 laps
🥈 Callan Johns – 4 laps
🥉 Brad Binskin – 4 laps
Callan led through the first three laps, but Arty turned up the pace on the final lap and snatched the win!
Brad was also right there, putting together a very consistent ride and finishing just fractions behind Callan. Talk about close! 👀
🚀 C GRADE WOMEN:
🥇 Kristen Theile – 3 laps
🥈 Sophia Stojanow – 3 laps
🏁 D GRADE MEN:
🥇 Brad Sommerville – 2 laps
🥈 Quinn Taylor – 2 laps
🥉 Steve Williams – 2 laps
🏁 D GRADE WOMEN:
🥇 Aisha Trevor – 2 laps
🚵 E GRADE MEN:
🥇 Parker Morgan – 2 laps
🥈 William Harper – 1 lap
🚵 E GRADE MEN:
🥇 Chrystie Morgan – 1 lap
Many of the D and E Grade riders showed true grit out there today. Several crossed the line after their first lap with only minutes to spare within the race time window, then bravely headed back out for a second lap, pushing their total race time close to an hour.
A special mention to Charlie Gill and Parker Morgan, who both pushed on to clock a little over an hour of racing! Huge effort! 💪
⚡ E-BIKE MEN:
Michael Browny took the E-Bike win after 5 laps, steadily getting faster as the race went on and finishing strongly.

🥈 Liam Wild – 5 laps
🥉 Luke Sponberg – 5 laps
Ross Morgan also completed 5 laps, while Adrian Trevor finished with 4.
⚡ E-BIKE WOMEN:, Leanne Sponberg took the win after completing 4 laps. 👏
🌟 KIDS RACE
And of course, the future stars of SMTBC were out there putting on a show! 🙌
Flynn Morgan powered through an impressive 6 laps to take the boys' win, while Maisie Harper took the girls' victory after 5 laps.

Round #5 had everything we love about XC racing — close competition, lead changes, strong final laps and riders giving it everything right to the finish line.
A massive THANK YOU to all the riders who came out and raced, and to our volunteers, marshals, officials, timing crew and everyone behind the scenes who helped make another SMTBC race day happen. ❤️
