Good evening Ladies

Well, we beat the rain apart from a short but heavy downpour impacting the last few games for about a hole and a half.

Thank you to HVGC as a host course particularly Dave Peel as starter, Pam & Chris as hosts and the morning tea and Ben in the Proshop.

Welcome to several new faces in the teams and those who came in as last minute reserves for injuries, illness etc. A particular thank you and welcome to Renea Kerr from Dungog who made herself available to the Branxton team as a very last minute fill in (7pm last night) and so avoided a game forfeit - and won her game as well. Muswellbrook also had a very last minute reshuffle this morning due to illness. Thank you everyone.

It is only Round 2 and the table is very very close. Please see the Official Results from today and the updated Pointscore progress. I have included club captains as addressees today as requested by a few clubs.

Next week is at SINGLETON GC. The draw is below. Let’s hope that the heavy rain that is causing such havoc in Northern Rivers and SE Qld moves offshore quickly.

COVID UPDATE, Hunter Valley Lockdown
All Golfers,
Effective from 5pm today we are going into a lockdown situation, The advice from NSW Government and Golf NSW is that we can still play golf during this period for the purpose of exercise.
How will this effect us?
We can still play golf for exercise, in groups of 2 only.
You must log in using the QR code system when you arrive at the course.
You must wear your mask at all times unless you are playing out on the course.
You must book in to play, this can be done through ourgolf, or by calling the club.
The Pro Shop will not be operational through this lockdown, all green fees are to be paid at the bar.
We have postponed all competition golf for the next 7 days and all current bookings have been cancelled.
If you have any cold or flu symptoms, please stay at home.
We will provide updates as they come to hand.
Stay Safe everyone and please be considerate to all of our staff as we work through this.

What a great start to the lady members season. 22 ladies in total.
Welcome, and congratulations must go to Kerri O'Connell, Gayle Thompson & Michelle Stoker. Great to see our new members on the first results sheet for the year. Gayle & Michelle have both come via the 9 @ 9 program which is run on Friday mornings.
