Let’s celebrate all of our club Volunteers, Patrol members & Senior athletes and all the people who make our club so successful. Please join us for the 2025/26 Semaphore SLSC Awards night on Saturday 30th May!

Time ~ Doors open from 6.30pm for a 7pm start
Dress ~ Cocktail (no denim please)

Pool Rescue season officially kicked off last night with Carnival 1 at SA Leisure Aquatic Centre.

After a few weeks of training, our small team of 16 competitors ranging from U11-U17 hit the pool to showcase what they can do in the 50m obstacle, line throw, manikin tow, patient tow, tube tow and 50m with fins.

With 6 athletes competing in Pool Rescue for the first time and 10 returning to fine tune their skills from last year, Semaphore had some amazing results and PB’s.

Thank you to all of our volunteers who gave up their time at the pool for the evening. Your efforts ensure that our athletes can compete!

Well done team Semaphore!

Winter Sundays are sorted at Semaphore SLSC! Join us every Sunday from May to September 2026 for Happy Hour from 4pm to 8pm.

Bring your own nibbles or order your favourite food delivered and settle in for a relaxed Sunday session by the beach.

Today, we celebrate and thank you—not just for being amazing role models, but for the countless hours you dedicate to supporting your children. From early morning carnivals to long hours on the beach for training and cheering from the sidelines, your dedication never goes unnoticed!

A special shout-out to our volunteer mums who give so much of their time to support the club—your community spirit is what makes Semaphore so special!

SAPSASA Cross Country cake stall and BBQ was a huge success this week!

Semaphore SLSC took on the challenge for the 14th year a row to feed the hundreds of kids and families at the event held at Pt Malcolm on Tuesday. A much busier year with seemingly much hungrier children!

Thank you to the families who donated baked goods to the stall this year. Whilst donations were down from previous years, the selection we had still pleased the hungry students!

A huge thanks goes out to everyone involved in the coordinating and running of the fundraising event. We had members, family of members, and even brand new members help out to make it successful! Thanks and well done to Alli, Nikki, Steph B, Lisa, Paul, Kevin, Phil (Semaphore Sea Glass), Mick, Todd, Lucy, Katie, Roz, Lara and Steph H for all of your hard work!

Don't forget to bake tonight ready for tomorrow!!!

Tomorrow is the Port District SAPSASA Cross Country Championships held at Pt Malcolm. This will be Semaphore’s 14th year supporting this event supplying food and drinks to 500 local primary school students, as well as their families and school staff. It is a huge event with a lot of hungry mouths to feed and we are lucky enough that ALL PROCEEDS GO TO OUR CLUB!!

We are looking for members who can bake cupcakes, slices, biscuits, and similar individual items to donate to our cake stall. NO NUTS are to be used for any baked goods, no lolly bags or any goods that need to be refrigerated. If you would like your containers returned, please label them!

Please let us know if you are able to contribute to the cake stall by commenting below. Baked goods are to be dropped off from 8am at the club Tuesday morning, drop-off is also available tonight at Lisa Zappia’s house. Please email [email protected] for details to arrange drop off the night before.

We appreciate your ongoing support for this community event. It is a great day to promote our club as well as supporting our local schools!
