We’re back at it tomorrow with both of our senior women’s sides looking to continue building momentum—but make sure you head to the right ground, with our teams playing at different venues.

Our Reserves will be looking to bring four quarters of pressure, teamwork and intensity as they take on the Eagles.

After a strong week on the track, Division 2 are ready for another big challenge and will be looking to make the most of every contest.

Whether you’re cheering on the Reserves at Park 12 or heading across to Park 25 for Division 2, get around the girls and help create plenty of noise from the sidelines.

A tough day at the office for our Senior and Reserves women, with Hectorville proving too strong across both grades.

While the scoreboard didn’t fall our way, there were still plenty of positives to take from the day. The effort, commitment and willingness to compete never dropped, and we’ll take those lessons into another big week on the track.

The ladder remains tight, with our Reserves sitting 4th and our Seniors 7th after nine rounds. With plenty of footy still to be played, both sides have every opportunity to keep pushing towards their season goals.

A huge thank you to our players, coaches, volunteers and supporters who continue to back the girls every week. Your support doesn’t go unnoticed.

100 Games. One Trailblazer.🦁

Tomorrow we celebrate a truly historic milestone as Dani Higgs becomes the first player to reach 100 Senior Women’s games all in the maroon, navy and gold.

From day one, Dani has been a leader, a competitor and a wonderful ambassador for our club. Her commitment, passion and dedication have helped shape the women’s program into what it is today, inspiring those who have worn the jumper alongside her and those who will follow.

To play 100 senior games is a remarkable achievement. To play every one of those games for SMOSH West Lakes and become the first woman in club history to reach the milestone makes it even more special.

Congratulations, Higgsy, on an incredible accomplishment. We are proud to have shared all 100 games with you.

The ladies are back on home turf this weekend as we welcome Eastern Park Football Club to Dwight Reserve for a massive Round 8 clash.

After a strong start to the season, both our Division 2 and Reserves sides will be looking to continue building momentum. Get down to Dwight Reserve, wear your maroon and gold, and get behind the Lions as we take on the Devils.

Round 7 saw our Lions take on Port District, with our Division 2 side battling hard against a strong opponent while our Reserves dug deep to secure an important victory.

While the results were mixed, there was plenty to celebrate as both teams continue to compete with heart, determination and pride every week.

A special highlight from the weekend was the incredible family connection on display, with five mother-daughter duos pulling on the navy, maroon and gold together. Moments like these are what make our club so special and showcase the family-first culture that continues to drive our women’s program. 💛❤️💙

After seven rounds, our Reserves sit 3rd on the ladder, firmly in the finals hunt, while our Division 2 side remains within striking distance and ready to attack the second half of the season.
