We would like to thank our wonderful community for their support on our Su***de Awareness round, held at Ray Edwards Oval yesterday.
The engagement for this event was fantastic and we hope that we were able to raise the awareness surrounding mental health.
Our memorial ceremony included 62 pairs of shoes which were placed on the field, to represent the amount of lives lost in Queensland every month to mental health. The public who have been unfortunately affected by this, were also invited to place their loved one’s shoes on the field.
The A Grade teams not just played for the points yesterday, but also played for the Tony Mansfield and Bill Graham Memorial Shield. Wests have taken it back to their club this year and we will aim to get it back when we play them at Walkerston in 2027!!
