SAMFORD RANGERS — ACADEMY ANNOUNCEMENT!
For the second year running, Samford Rangers has secured promotion, with our boys’ teams from U10 through to U18 moving into FQA 2 league.
Following our recent achievement of a Top 20 Academy ranking in Queensland, this is another huge step forward for our club and a great reward for the work being put in across our Academy.
It means our teams will continue to test themselves against some of Queensland’s leading Gold & Silver Club academies, giving our players the opportunity to challenge themselves, develop their game and see just how far they can go.
Just as importantly, having our boys’ and girls’ programs aligned within the same division helps strengthen the pathway across our club, with a shared focus on developing local talent and creating opportunities for players to progress into senior football at Samford.
None of this happens without a lot of hard work behind the scenes. Our players, coaches, technical staff, committee, volunteers and families all play a huge part in what we are building, and this achievement belongs to all of them.
And it’s not just about promotion and results. Samford was recognised as Queensland’s #1 Academy Program for value for money for 2026, backed by great member feedback, strong player retention and a genuine commitment to player development.
We’re incredibly proud of how far our Academy has come. From building our reputation across Queensland to achieving back-to-back promotions, it’s great to see the hard work paying off.
Most importantly, we’re creating more opportunities for our local players to develop, compete and enjoy their football right here at Samford.
A massive congratulations to everyone involved. This is something our whole club and community can be proud of.
One Club. One Community. One Ranger. 💙
