Ever wanted to put on the blue shirt and yell "STRIKE THREE" with complete authority? Now is your chance.

Pine Hills is hosting an official Community Umpire Course right here at Bunya. It is a 2 to 2.5-hour introductory session that covers all the basics you need to umpire junior games this season (and opens the door to umpire senior and masters games with a quick online upskill later).

Course Details:
When: Friday 25 September (Check-in from 6.15pm, starts 6.30pm)
Where: Field 2, James Drysdale Reserve

How to get certified (3 simple steps to complete prior to attending):
Register Your Attendance: Complete the QBUA attendance form ( https://forms.gle/BSWMvJsEygnm4Yv19 ) AND email [email protected] so we know you are coming.

AIS Online Module: Complete the AIS component of the Community Umpire Programme here: https://learning.ausport.gov.au/auth/login/?returnUrl=%2F

Rule Exam: Pass the online Community Little League Exam (70% pass mark required) here: https://qbua.org/community-umpire-exam/

Complete all three, get your official umpire number, and get ready to rule the diamond.

Hey Pine Hills family!

We have about 10 Little Leaguers whose new jerseys won't arrive in time for the start of the season, and we’d love your help to get them kitted up for game day!

If you have any yellow Pine Hills jerseys (sizes 8 through 14-ish) sitting in the back of the wardrobe that your player has outgrown, please consider donating or lending them to the club!

Sizes needed: 8 to 14

Where to drop off: You can hand them to at training, or drop them off at the canteen.

Please tag any past or present families who might have a spare one lying around. Thank you so much for supporting our kids!

When our Pine Hills crew steps out into representative baseball, you know they are going to make some noise.

A massive congratulations to Noah, Parker, Archer, and Lars for taking out 3rd overall with the Met North 12-14 squad at the Queensland Representative School Sport Championship!

The boys kicked off the tournament on fire, cruising through four straight wins and a draw. Refusing to let a narrow semi-final loss derail them, they came out firing in the final game to lock up the bronze medal.

From clutch pitching performances by Noah and Archer to clinical defense across the infield and outfield from Parker and Lars, every single one of them put on a showcase with quality at-bats and big plays when it mattered most.

Awesome job boys, time to bring that form back to Bunya!

Little League Player Pitch registration for the 2026/27 season is now officially CLOSED. The demand this year has been massive, and all of our team rosters have been completely exhausted.

To everyone who signed up in time, thank you for making Pine Hills your home for the summer. Our coaches are already hard at work putting the final touches on team lists and prepping for an epic season.

Time to dust off the gloves and get ready for the 2026/27 Women's season.

We have a packed pre-season line-up coming up in September, including two key events you need to lock into your calendar:

Spring Training (Saturday 12 Sept | 3.00pm – 4.30pm): Designed specifically for all players signed up for our 2026/27 Women's program to get on the field, shake off the off-season rust, and start getting game-ready. Location: Field 1.

Ladies Link Up (Sunday 20 Sept | 3.00pm – 4.30pm): A club-wide session open to ALL female players from Little League age and up! Enjoy some fun off-season training and connect with the ladies. Location: Field 1 & Batting Cages.

Regular Weekly Training (Thursdays | 6.30pm – 8.30pm): Starting from 17th September on Field 1.

Time to put down the winter snacks, pick up the bat, and remember how to run the bases without pulling a muscle. Senior Training is officially locked in for the 2026/27 season.

Whether you are Div 1 or getting reps in for Div 2 through 5, it is time to get back onto the field and work off that off-season rust.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO REGISTER.

Over 65 future stars took the field on Friday night for the first session of our annual “Give It a Go” program – designed especially for kids who are new to tee ball and coach pitch baseball.

It was a fun-filled evening packed with games, activities, and plenty of smiles as our future stars got their first taste of baseball.

We’re so excited to see these kids learning, playing, and falling in love with the game. Welcome to the Lightning Brigade!
