EXAMS ARE COMING! 💙✨

October is EXAM MONTH at SADC! 🩰

Our dancers have been working hard in class, building their technique, confidence and performance skills and we’re so excited to see all that hard work come together.

Exams are about so much more than a result. They’re an opportunity to set goals, recognise progress, build confidence and be proud of how far you’ve come. ⭐️

Keep working hard, dancers, you’ve got this! 💙

Every child deserves the chance to do what they love.

For months, the dance community has been raising concerns that while dance is included in the PlayOn! voucher program, many dance studios still aren’t able to accept the vouchers in practice 🩰

That means kids who choose dance can miss out on valuable support that is available to children participating in other activities ⚽️ 🏉 🏀

I will never forget my early years of dance that culminated in being cast as a lettuce in our Peter Rabbit showcase - to say dance wasn’t my gifting may be an understatement, but I loved it! 🥬

Every child should have that opportunity.

That’s why we’re calling for equal, practical access to PlayOn! vouchers for Queensland kids who choose dance 💃🏼

REMINDER - This week is the last week of term 3!!💙✨

What a term it’s been! So much dancing, learning, performing, growing and plenty of fun along the way.

We are so proud of all of our SADC dancers and everything they’ve achieved this term. Now it’s time for a well-earned little break before we head into an exciting Term 4 and MORE UPCOMING PERFORMANCES AND BACK INTO CONCERT SEASON! 🩰⭐️
