Paul Bowman Challenge 2026 Paul Bowman Challenge is a two-day carnival co-ordinated by the PWJRL Brahmans Football Club

The Paul Bowman Challenge is a two-day Under 9 carnival promoted with the emphasis being on participation, good sportsmanship and encouragement. Named in honor of former Proserpine Junior Rugby League player, Paul Bowman is a legend of the game having played 203 games for the Cowboys between 1995 and 2007. “Bear” as he is affectionately known, captained the NQ Cowboys and represented Queensland on 12 occasions in the State of Origin.

What an incredible weekend! 🙌

A MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the 2026 Paul Bowman Challenge such a huge success! 🫶✨

To all our Players, Parents, Supporters, Officials, Referees and Linesmen — thank you for being part of an amazing weekend of footy!

And to our incredible volunteers — we couldn’t do it without you! ❤️

From the amazing crew in the canteen, the men on the BBQ cooking up a storm, the young men out collecting rubbish, our fantastic toilet cleaners, the teams selling merchandise and raffles, our MC, and of course our amazing committee members who put so much time and effort into bringing the whole carnival together — THANK YOU! 👏👏👏
