✨STRENGTH TRAINING PART 17…
✨Life’s ups and downs…
Last month ultrasound guided sclerotherapy on the saphenous leg veins abruptly halted all strength training progress…
❌No weights… no high impact aerobics…
💯Only walk and sit…walk and sit…walk and sit…
😖Lots of unhelpful and anxious thoughts came knocking in on my brain…( treatment may not be successful straight away thereby further delaying strength training)
😰Plenty of unpleasant feelings too…( painful legs and odd sensations in the legs, strong emotions of anxiety and fear and even anger as I could no longer engage in strength work)
🥰So let’s learn and grow from this set of circumstances…
💯One important thing I can do when faced with adversity, is to focus on what is in my control…
*To live by my values.
*To connect with what is most important to me.
AND…
*To make some meaningful changes where I can.
😊Living a life of purpose, even when experiencing life’s ups and downs…
