We had a great turn out of enthusiastic bowlers for our Opening of the Summer Season bowls day yesterday. We began the day with one of our Life Members Pat Belcher rolling the first bowl for the season, followed by a spider, bowls and a yummy morning tea. See you all next week.

Congratulations to the organisers of the
H***y Tonk Hoe Down held at Denison Bowling Club Friday 21st August .
Amazing 120 dancers and spectators enjoyed the visit from Geraldton Bootscooters.

We held our annual ‘Battle of the Bridge” bowls event on Saturday and what a great day of rivalry and friendship it was. Thanks to our 64 Dongara Devils and Denison Demons who turned up full of excitement and
expectations to win the battle of the bridge. After some excellent bowling the scores were very close at the end of the first round. The Demons really applied the pressure in the second round and the Devils couldn’t match it. Congratulations to the Denison Demons who proved themselves to be worthy winners once again. The highest rink score on the day went to Ian Cliff, Kathy Findlay, Jill Adamson and Debra Dempster. Thanks to our fabulous sponsors Pat Belcher and the Badgy Roadhouse.
