Well that’s a wrap for the 2025/26 season. Thank you to everyone who came to the Youth and Seniors presentation on Sunday and thank you to Sea Folk Co for catering and allowing us to use your cafe. Congratulations to all our event winners and well done to everyone who gained awards this season.
Thank you to Mike Francis and Rod Owen for training awards and to Peter Saunders for assessing this season.
We had 5 SRC, 3 Bronze Medallion, 6 IRB crew who all went on to do their Silver Medallion (IRB driver), 1 RWC (jet ski operator) and 3 more ready for assessing in the coming weeks.

This season Maale Taylor took out Youth Patrol Person and Andrew Taylor was the Senior Patrol Person.
Youth Club Achiever was Cassandra Baxter.
President’s Award went to Tanya Stokes.
Best Club Member went to Andrew, Sarah and Maale Taylor.
Thank you to our Club President-Rod Owen, our Committee and the Age Group Managers for a wonderful Season.

For any of our U13’s and up, Geraldton Surf Life Saving Club are putting out their surf boats tomorrow at the Champion Bay boat ramp near Stow Gardens for any youths that want to have a go. They are starting at 7am.

Our Woodside Nippers have completed another season! Congratulations to all participants and to those who were champions or runners up in their respective age groups. Our club champions this year were Izabelle and Liam with our club runners up being Indiana and Lincoln. Thank you to all who helped with nippers, especially water safety and our Age Group Managers. Thank you for the wonderful shared lunch, a great and relaxed way to end the season.
We look forward to celebrating our Youth and Seniors next Sunday at the club sundowner from 4pm.

⛱️This Sunday, 22 March is the end of the Woodside Nippers season! Fun activities from 10am followed by certificates and end of season presentations. Please bring a plate to share. 🧁🍩🌭🍕🥗
At 9am, the youth and seniors have the sprint, Ironman and surf ski events. 🏄‍♂️🏊🥇🥈🥉
Senior and Youth windup the following weekend, Sunday 29 March at the club, 4-7pm. 😎

Well that’s a wrap for the 2026 Fuel to Go & Play Midwest Surf Lifesaving Nipper Championships. Thank you to Champion Bay and Geraldton SLSC for travelling to Dongara today to compete. Conditions were challenging so well done to everyone for having a go.

Congratulations to all the medal recipients 🥇🥈🥉and our competitors who participated on the day. Your sportsmanship was outstanding!
