Due to unforeseen circumstances the date of the celebration of the life of Paul Curtin at the Alberton Hotel on Friday, June 5th, between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm has been cancelled. A new date will be confirmed at a later date.

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Port Adelaide Cricket Club stalwart and former state representative, Paul Curtin.

​Paul joined the club for the 1971/72 season and earned cap #361. He quickly established himself as one of the finest leg-spinners to wear the black and white.
He captured 325 wickets during his illustrious time with the Magpies, a haul that featured 18 five-wicket performances and culminated in receiving SACA Cap #430. He proudly shared his time at the club with his brothers Barry, David, and the late Peter.

​The club sends its deepest sympathies to Barry, David, and the entire Curtin family as we honor the life and legacy of a club legend.

We are thrilled to announce that Scott Harrison has won the 2025/26 Fellows Award, recognizing him as the most outstanding club volunteer in women’s cricket.

​With each Grade club nominating just one individual for this honor, the final winner is selected by the Women’s Executive Committee. Winning this award is a direct testament to Scott's work ethic, leadership, and the immense value he adds to our women's cricket program.

​Scott, thank you for your continued commitment to our club. This recognition is thoroughly deserved!

Tait Sloan has locked in his spot in the SACA Boys U18 Shield Team of the Year after a dominant season out in the middle.

​This selection is the direct result of hard work and putting up big performances when it mattered. He earned his place among the best in the competition.
