300 WAFL League Games
A remarkable milestone for Rob McCaw, who will reach 300 WAFL League games today, umpiring Round 18 Perth v Peel.
With 21 years of service across 2005β07 and 2009β2026, Rob has built an outstanding career since joining the WAFL ranks and making his League debut in 2010, Round 14, officiating Peel v South Fremantle at Anniversary Park in Rockingham.
Rob's career highlights include a 2022 WAFL League Grand Final, becoming the 54th WANFLUA Field Umpire to officiate a League GF, as well as representing Western Australia in the 2022 State Game against South Australia at Optus Stadium.
His achievements also include the 2011 Ross Capes Medal for Pre-Season Field Umpire of the Year and the 2011 Craig Hendrie Medal for Most Improved Umpire of the Year.
Beyond his on-field achievements, Rob has made a significant contribution to the association, serving two years on the WANFLUA General Committee (2012β13) and being recognised as a WANFLUA Life Member in 2020.
