Come join us next Saturday the 13th of June on Past Players day.

Catch up with some old mates, make some new ones, and share stories from the club’s 69 year history. There will be pizzas and a small bar tab for our past players.

We’ll have a special viewing area for our past players and legends, as well as hall of fame inductions to happen from 5pm!

Our club wouldn’t be what it is today without our members from the past, so please come show them some love and maybe shout them a beer 🍻

In honour of National Volunteer week, all of this week we are shouting out some of our Volunteers who keep our club ticking along.

Today we’re shining a light on Zach ‘Fraz’ Ferrari!

Zach has been involved with the club since he was in primary school, and started volunteering with helping out in the canteen on Sundays. Today he’s a respected member of our committee and our Membership Coordinator. Fraz even gets involved with events organising, especially for Ladies Day recently which would not have been a success without his efforts.

Thanks for all you do Fraz, the club wouldn’t be the same without you!

Next up we have Jimmy Royce!

Jimmy is our Head of Juniors and integral to the smooth running of our younger teams. He coordinates the volunteers, ensures all information is cascaded to the players and parents, and handles concerns and complaints with patience and understanding.

Without his dedication our junior teams would not be as successful as they are. Thanks Jimmy! We appreciate you.

In honour of National Volunteer week, all of this week we are shouting out some of our Volunteers who keep our club ticking along.

First up we have Ray Philp!

There is no doubt that the Manning Rippers Football Club is getting bigger and bigger, each year the club attracts more new members keen to find a home where they can share the love of AFL. The day-to-day operational logistics have become more and more complex as the club expands, and the financing of these operations has also becomes more involved. The man in control of the finances is local resident and Rotarian, Ray Philp. Ray started with the club as a bar person, but in 2022 stepped up to become treasurer of the club. Behind the scenes Ray spends hour after hour making sure that the Club can pay its way, but also save to fund future growth and capital developments.

So, if you are up in the clubrooms and you cross paths with the club’s quiet achiever, say hello or offer to buy him a beer. Ray deserves it.

Community day is next weekend!

Women, league, reserves and e-grade are all playing at home, colts have a bye.

We’ve got the Auskick players joining us for a kick, and plenty to keep the young ones entertained!

Hope to see you there!

We’re taking a stand against drink driving, you have the power to save lives by not drinking and driving, and by making sure your mates don’t either. So, what’s your plan
to get game ready and get home safe?

We ran a Good Sports Game Ready round to raise awareness of the risks of drink driving during Round 1 2026 on the 11th of April.

Did you know, drink driving makes up over 30% of the fatal road toll in Australia? Even one death on our roads is too many. That’s why at Manning Rippers we encourage keeping ourselves and our team mates accountable by ensuring no one who’s had more than the legal limit gets behind the wheel. Together we keep our team safe

More than a footy club, the Rippers are a pillar of the Manning community and we’re looking to go bigger and better in 2026.

2025 saw the Rippers get so popular that we now have too many players for four senior teams, but are a little short of enough players for five senior teams (Maybe six teams one day if our women’s programme continues to grow 👀). So in early 2026 we are putting the call out to our communities that The Rippers are on the hunt for new senior players. 🏆🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

To show off what Manning is all about we got Shots by Stadz to produce a video that captures the essence of Ripperland. Now we need you to share this video across your social media channels and spread the word.

Each share of this video will get you an entry into a draw for a $100 voucher 🤑 that will be drawn at our Season launch on Friday 13th March (save the date ). Voucher can be used towards fees and merchandise, no limit on shares, must be up for a full 24 hours to count, last day of the competition is 28th Feb 2026.

Happy sharing, stay tuned for what we have in store for 2026.
