WA STATE TITLE – NIGHT 2 | MARGARET RIVER SPEEDWAY
Wow… what a night. The boys absolutely turned it on 🔥
With WA1 of Daniel Kennedy struck by issues from night one, the door was wide open — and FBR made sure we were right in the hunt.
Heat 1 kicked things off in style with a 1–2 finish, Kris bringing it home for the win.
Heat 2… rinse and repeat — another 1–2 finish, this time Raz taking the top step.
That set the scene for something special…
FBR locking out the front row for the WA State Title.
Kris (87) on pole, Raz (88) alongside.
As soon as the green dropped — it was game on.
Kris got the jump and led the opening 12 laps, with Raz glued to his rear bar. A yellow brought the field back together, putting the 88 right back in the fight. Another restart on lap 15 saw Kris run slightly high into turn one, and Raz was ready — making a clean move to take the lead.
What followed was shaping up to be an all-time FBR showdown…
But racing can be cruel.
With just 3 laps to go, while leading, the 88 suffered a mechanical failure — ending the charge in a cloud of smoke and steam.
That left Kris out front, who kept his cool and brought it home to claim WA1 🏆
A moment 16 years in the making — and one that couldn’t be more deserved.
We couldn’t be prouder of both drivers. To lock out the front row and be battling for the win like that shows what this team is all about.
Huge thanks to all of our sponsors for their ongoing support — and a special shoutout to Dicey Ricey for making the trip down and capturing the whole weekend from the infield. We can’t wait to see what you put together!
