Our nursing students at Mirrabooka Campus brought anatomy to life during their class activity!🩺🫀🧠

Students built and presented hands-on models of the body systems for fellow students around campus, including the digestive, endocrine, circulatory and respiratory, lymphatic, skeletal and nervous systems, and even the skin.

The creativity and teamwork on display were amazing. Well done to everyone involved! 👏💚💛

We are pleased to welcome 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘄 to Stanley College as our new 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀.👏

Alice brings more than 20 years of experience across strategic partnerships, business development, sales and relationship management, spanning the education, not-for-profit, travel and media sectors.

Most recently, Alice was National Partnerships Manager at Gradability, where she led a national team responsible for corporate partnerships, university relationships and student placements. She has developed partnerships with leading universities and worked with an extensive network of employers across a broad range of industries.

Alice holds a Master’s in International Politics and Human Rights, a Graduate Certificate in Japanese Corporate Training, and a double degree in Business Administration and Japanese Studies.

In her new role, Alice will lead Stanley College’s strategic partnerships and domestic sales functions, strengthening our relationships with industry and key stakeholders, identifying new commercial opportunities, and supporting Stanley College’s next phase of growth.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Warona's achievement. She was recently named 𝗪𝗔 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at the 𝗪𝗔 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, an outstanding recognition of her dedication and contribution to vocational education in Western Australia. To mark the occasion, Stanley College is delighted to present her with a scholarship, a gift to support her continued journey with us in the Bachelor of Community Services, where she's now in her second year. 🎓

Warona moved from Zimbabwe to Australia to study Community Services, progressing from her Certificate III and IV through to the Diploma at South Metropolitan, and then on to her Bachelor of Community Services at Stanley College. Throughout her educational journey, she has remained driven by a clear goal: to become a caseworker in child protection, advocating for vulnerable people and helping build more inclusive, supportive communities.

Her story is a powerful reminder of how vocational education can open doors for international students, often the first step on a pathway all the way to higher education. We're proud to support students like Warona at every stage of that journey.

We recently welcomed students from Thornlie Senior High School, Yule Brook College, Ocean Reef Senior High School and 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 to our campuses! 🎉

Our Career Taster sessions gave students a real hands-on look at three exciting, in-demand industries: pulling their first latte in 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, whipping up dishes in 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘆, and exploring the rewarding world of 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

It was wonderful to see so much curiosity, creativity and teamwork on display. A big thank you to all the students who participated in our one-day Career Taster program! 👏

Yesterday, we welcomed high school students from EDU GLOBAL SCHOOL in Indonesia to our 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 for a career taster tour! 🌏

The group explored our Nursing Simulation Lab and Creche, the same facilities where our nursing and early childhood education students carry out their practical training. It was a great chance for them to discover the courses on offer at Stanley College and picture their own career pathway in Australia. Soon after the tour, the group treated us to a beautiful traditional cultural performance - a wonderful moment of connection and a lovely way to share a piece of their culture with us. 💚
