The Dance Workshop specialises in classes for adults 18+ through to mature age students for any level of dance. We offer classes in HIP HOP, CLASSICAL BALLET, JAZZ, BOLLYWOOD, FLAMENCO, CONTEMPORARY, TAP, and STILETTOS

You can attend classes casually, or sign up for a 6-week term to receive a discount, or pay to access an unlimited number of classes per week.

It’s back to basics and back to the joy of dancing! ✨

Our next round of 6-week Basics Courses begin on the week of June 22, giving both brand new dancers and experienced movers the chance to strengthen foundations, refine technique and reconnect with the fundamentals that make great dancing possible. These classes are where confidence is built, musicality grows and strong dancers are made.

Whether you’re taking your very first class, returning to dance after time away or an experienced dancer wanting to sharpen your foundations - these classes are where confidence is built, musicality grows and strong dancers are made.

🗓 New Course Schedule:
- JUNE 22: Jazz / Dance Basics, Tap Basics & Hip Hop Basics
- JUNE 24: Heels Basics, Flamenco Basics & Ballet Basics
- JUNE 27: Jazz / Dance Basics

🎯 In each course, you’ll build:
- foundational technique
- coordination and body awareness
- strength, rhythm and flexibility
- confidence in the studio and in your movement

SOIREE 2026 is almost here! 🎉 Join us as we celebrate 15 years of The Dance Workshop with an afternoon of performance, passion and community at our annual adult dance recital. From Ballet to Hip Hop, Tap to Flamenco, Contemporary to Jazz - watch our incredible students and faculty light up the stage in a celebration of movement at every age and stage of life.

Some performers are stepping on stage for the very first time. Others are returning to a lifelong love of dance. Together, they are proof that it’s never too late to begin, return or keep growing. Expect inspiring performances, powerful choreography and a community that truly loves to dance 💛

From first-time performers to former professionals, our students will take to the stage alongside the incredible choreography of our internationally respected faculty, proving that dance has no age limit and passion never expires.

Ready to take your tap training further? Our Intermediate/Advanced Tap class is designed for dancers with a confident foundation in tap who want to continue developing technique, speed, rhythm and musicality in a focused, supportive environment.

Led by the incredibly experienced Matthew Dear, whose career spans musical theatre, cabaret, cruise entertainment, television and live performance, students will train with a teacher who brings real industry knowledge, precision and performance insight to every class.
