Well the night didn’t end how we would’ve expected.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out and checked on Jorja and Brad (Cool Bling) after their race fall in the last race.
Jorja showed true professionalism, compassion and tremendous horsemanship when Cool Bling was hit by another horse causing him to flip and fall.
The outcome could have been devastating and we are grateful that we will only be patching up some pretty nasty lacerations to his legs for a couple of months.
Once again our clerks were tremendous with Laura and Terry Robb bouncing quickly into action

Three Chances Under the Lights at Parkes Tonight

It’s an exciting night for our stable as we head to Parkes with three runners, including two first starters that we’re looking forward to seeing make their racing debuts.

Race 1 marks the long-awaited debut of our three-year-old filly Million Dollar Hat. She’s particularly special to us, having been bred and raised right here at our stable. Watching a horse grow from birth through to race day is one of the most rewarding parts of racing, and tonight is the beginning of what we hope will be an exciting journey. She’s continued to improve in her work, and while she’ll no doubt benefit from the experience, we’re eager to see her step out in race conditions.

Our experienced campaigner BODELETOS lines up in Race 2. He’s continued to impress us with his progression this preparation and heads into tonight in great order. Unfortunately, he’s come up with another awkward barrier draw on the tight Parkes circuit—something that seems to follow him around! It certainly won’t make his job any easier, but he’s shown plenty of determination and ability, and we’re looking forward to another honest performance.

We round out the evening in Race 10 with another exciting debutant, Cool Bling. Bred by the Elder Stables, Cool Bling has been patiently prepared and has done everything we’ve asked throughout his education. Like any first starter, tonight is about gaining valuable race experience while giving us a glimpse of what’s to come.

Nights like these remind us why we love this sport. Whether it’s watching a homebred take its first steps onto the racetrack, seeing a young horse make its debut, or following the progress of an improving campaigner, every race is part of a much bigger journey.

A huge thank you goes to our owners, who have played a role in getting these three horses to the races tonight. We wish all connections the very best of luck and hope they all race safely and proudly.

A lovely mare who is easy to handle and do anything with on the ground. She has had limited exposure however is a very quick learner. Has the attitude of a beautiful beginners horse and with further education can be that one in a million.

She is a willing horse with a kind nature who genuinely tries her best to please. She has all the ingredients to make a fantastic riding horse with time, consistency and further training.

Would be well suited to someone looking for a blank canvas to bring on their own way. She has a great attitude and plenty of potential for the right person.

Utah has found his new home and will be heading off into the sunset in Western Australia 🩷☀️Kyla Zarb

We are exited to present this charismatic look at me gelding.

Utah is an unregistered paint who is a flashy 7-year-old gelding standing approximately 15hh. With his striking blue eyes, big white face and eye-catching markings, he’s the sort of horse that gets noticed wherever he goes.

Utah has been exposed to a variety of environments including barrel racing events, team penning weekends and clinics, and continues to gain confidence with every outing. He is an athletic horse with plenty of potential and a willingness to learn, making him suitable for someone looking for a horse they can continue to develop in their chosen discipline. He is forward moving and can be a little unsure in new situations, so would be best suited to a confident rider who can provide reassurance and continue building his confidence. Utah is not nasty, just sensitive and still learning to trust his rider.
A lovely horse with a kind nature, plenty of ability and a bright future ahead of him. Only available as his current owner is looking to focus on other commitments
