The Safer Drivers Course is a 5-hour program for learner drivers under 25 who have completed 50 logbook hours, offering 20 bonus logbook hours upon completion. Designed to reduce crash risk, the $140 course covers low-risk driving strategies, hazard awareness, and safe gap selection.
The course is divided into two modules focusing on practical risk management including speed management, gap selection, hazard awareness, safe following distances, and managing distractions.
1️⃣Module 1 (3-hour workshop): A group discussion exploring on-road behaviour, peer influence, and low-risk strategies.
2️⃣Module 2 (2-hour in-car coaching): A practical session with a professional coach to apply safe driving techniques.
