MEET TAMARA THE NEW OWNER OF THE NICHOLSON HOTEL!

Tamara, a true Nicho local who is celebrating 8 years of calling Nicholson home this year!

When Tamara first moved to town, she spotted the Nicholson Hotel and knew straight away that one day she wanted to own it. Fast forward to today, and that dream has officially become a reality! ✨

Outside of the pub, Tamara is a proud mum of four, a horse lover, and lucky to share life with her wonderful partner, Ian.

You might also recognise Tamara from her previous venture, The Hitch Rail Coffee Van in Swanny ☕️
but she’s decided it’s time for a little upgrade… from coffee van to country pub! 🍺😉

Tamara is excited to meet everyone, get the pub buzzing, and make the Nicholson Hotel a must visit spot for locals and visitors alike!

So next time you’re passing through, pop in, say g’day and help us give Tamara a big Nicho welcome! 🥂

Lines in at 7am Saturday with presentations at the club rooms at the Nicholson Boat Ramp at 2:30 on Sunday.

OMG can you believe it, we have a four-way tie for biggest bream with only a few months to go. Will someone catch a bigger bream or will our sign writer have to fit four names on the trophy?

Some amazing flathead have been caught so far this year and with the water warming up, now is the time to get out. Remember even if you catch a flathead outside of a club comp you can enter it in the annual competition for bragging rights at the end of the year.

As we get to the pointy end of the season the race for title of Club Champion is very close. With only 3 rounds left every centimeter is going to be important.

This weekend is the annual Dr Mitchell Shield Trout round.
Lines in from Midnight Friday to 12noon Sunday with the weigh in at Ensay Angling club at the recreation reserve(football Ground) 12 noon sharp.
Fishing area is anywhere from the top of the Gap.
A few from the Angling club are camping at the Hinnomunjie Bridge camping area on the Mitta.
