🧡🤍 Young Umpire Progression 🤍🧡

A huge congratulations to our amazing young umpires who have progressed from White Bib to Orange Bib this season 👏👏

Well done to Emma, Elsie, Aria, Hanna, Ella, Lily-May, Gigi and Zara. We are so proud of the way you are learning, growing in confidence, and stepping up each week.

A big thank you to our incredible Umpire Convenor Sienna, along with umpire coaches Chloe, Emily-Ann, Ella and Kami, for the time, guidance and encouragement they are giving our learner umpires. Our young umpires are incredibly lucky to have such a supportive team around them this year 💙🖤💛

We also want to give a special shout out to Chloe, who was recently awarded Senior Rep Umpire of the Year at the HDNA Senior State Age Presentation. What an incredible achievement and such a wonderful role model for our learner umpires 🌟

A reminder to our United families and supporters that umpires wearing purple armbands are under 18. They are young people learning their craft, just like our players are learning theirs.

Please remember that positive sideline behaviour matters. Encouragement, patience and respect help our young umpires build confidence and stay involved in the game we all love.

💙🖤💛 National Volunteer Week 💛🖤💙

This week we celebrate the amazing volunteers who make United GC Netball Club what it is.

From our committee, coaches, managers, umpires, scorers, BBQ legends, supporters and everyone who quietly steps in when something needs doing - we thank you.

Community sport simply does not happen without volunteers, and our club is so lucky to have people who give their time, energy and care to support our players and families each week.

Your contribution helps create the welcoming, safe and supportive club culture we are so proud of.

To every volunteer in our United family, we appreciate you more than you know.

💙🦋 Mudgeeraba Street Party 🦋💙

The sun came out for the Mudgeeraba Street Party, and what a beautiful day it turned out to be.

A huge thank you to Glenn TOZER for Mudgeeraba & Hinterland (Division 9) and his team for organising such a fantastic community event. It was wonderful to be part of such a positive day.

A special shoutout also to Leon Rebello MP who absolutely made one little person’s day. 💙

Thank you to our dedicated little cherubs who proudly wore their United GC uniforms, helped at our stall selling merch, and represented the club so beautifully in the street parade. 💛🖤💙

It was another wonderful opportunity to raise money and awareness for Dolly’s Dream, while sharing such an important message of kindness, inclusion and speaking up.

We are now tallying up the donations from both our Club Duty Day and the Mudgeeraba Street Party, and we cannot wait to announce the final amount raised very soon. 💙

New game day balls are here! 🏐🩷
We’re proud to unveil the new game day balls for all of our junior teams thanks to our latest purchase from Gilbert Netball. Even better, a percentage of every purchase is being donated to Breast Cancer Network Australia, supporting an incredible cause while backing our future stars. 🎀
A huge thank you to Gilbert Netball for helping make a difference both on and off the court.

A huge shoutout to our Umpire Convenor, Sienna, who spent four days umpiring at the Queensland Representative School Sport Netball Carnival at Nissan Arena. 👏🏐

This was Sienna’s second year being selected as a Student Official, which is such a fantastic achievement and experience.

💙 Butterfly Braids for Dolly’s Day 💙

Come and see Meggie at the United GC tents this Saturday morning for $5 butterfly braids, with funds raised supporting Dolly’s Dream.
