Gold Coast District Cricket Club The Gold Coast Dolphins is a Queensland Premier Cricket club. Georgia Redmayne was recently selected to represent Australia.

Mission Statement:

The Mission of the Club is to:

Provide the opportunity for any cricketer in the Gold Coast and Tweed Districts to compete in the highest level of cricket for which he or she is capable of playing. and to help:

Foster, develop, co-ordinate and promote the game of cricket in the Gold Coast and Tweed Districts. Details:

Since its inception in 1990, the Dolphins have produced a number of Australian and Queensland representative players including Andrew Symonds, Scott Muller, Dirk Wellham, Greg Campbell, Graeme Hick and Craig McDermott. Current first class players include Michael Neser, Xavier Bryant, Max Bryant and Matthew Kuhnemann. The home ground and clubhouse is located at Bill Pippen Oval (formerly Kerrydale Oval) on Priddeys Road, Robina, and is adjacent to the Robina Town Centre. The clubhouse is open on training nights and match days during summer and is available for hire.

Saturday - Men’s Two Day had some weather interruptions but games got on and are in progress.

Sunday sadly saw our Women’s 1’s & 2nd Grade Round 1 games Abandoned due to weather.

Meanwhile our U17 Taverners, BMC and Women’s BWC games did get on.. there were some standout performances and some very close games. Congratulations to our BMC team on their win vs Valley 👏

It all begins this weekend for our Senior Men.

This Saturday all 4 grades will start the season off with Two Day Red Ball Cricket.. Our 1’s and 3’s will head north for their first round whilst our 2’s and 4’s will host Valley and North at home.

After a successful 2025/26 season, we’re excited to announce our 2026/27 Male Program Coaching Staff!

Last season saw our 1st Grade Dolphins claim the Two Day, Red Ball Premiership after 16yr drought, along with 2 other Premierships and multiple Semi-Final appearances across all grades, a fantastic achievement that reflects the hard work, commitment and belief across our entire playing group and coaching team.

Now, the focus turns to the season ahead.

With a strong, collective & passionate coaching group led by Head Coach & Director of Youth Pathways Simon Belston, we’re looking forward to another year of development, competitive and success across every grade.

To all our coaches, captains, players, volunteers, members and supporters — we wish you an incredible, successful and enjoyable 2026/27 season.

Let’s build on what we achieved last year and continue to make the Dolphins history 🐬🏏💪

The Season started with our U17 Dolphins Male teams on Sunday.

U17 Lord’s Taverners boys kicked off Round 1 with a fantastic win over Wests, chasing down their total to finish 7/130 and securing victory by 3 wickets.

Josh Slack-Smith led the charge with 68 off 90 balls.
Callum Curtin 3/17 (5) and Jed Robinson 3/28 (8) starred with the ball to set up the win.

U17 BMC: A massive fight from our BMC boys, putting up a strong 199 runs with Ed Reidy hard-fought 42 off 76 balls, Cooper Armstrong with a decent 2/26 (9) with the ball. West DCC managed to chase it down in a tight finish, taking the win by 4 wickets.

Congratulations to all the boys on a great opening round.
Let’s keep this momentum building 🏏🐬💪
