🚨 FIELD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚨- UPDATED

UPDATE:
Unfortunately that late afternoon rain has drenched already very wet fields, so we have been left with no choice but to close all fields tomorrow for all junior and mini roo matches. A decision regarding FQPL 3 will be made at midday.

Original post:
Due to the significant amount of water still sitting on our fields, all games scheduled for tonight, Friday 12th June, have been cancelled.

Joeys will still go ahead as planned. We ask all Joeys families to please stay out of the wet areas and ensure children do not play in the standing water.

Our committee will be onsite tonight to reassess the condition of the grounds and formulate a plan for tomorrow morning's fixtures. As always, we will do everything possible to ensure games can proceed where it is safe and practical to do so.

We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we work through the ongoing wet weather.

Please keep an eye on our social media channels for further updates regarding Saturday's matches.

⚽ FULL TIME – Round 4 💛🖤

A strong performance on the road from our FQPL 3 Men, coming away with a well-earned 3–0 victory over Coomera. ✅

It was a hard-fought battle from start to finish, with the boys showing plenty of determination and resilience to secure all three points away from home.

Josh Buxton was outstanding throughout the match and deservedly earned Man of the Match honours with a commanding performance. 👏⚽

With the U23 fixture already played earlier in the season, all eyes were on First Grade, and the squad delivered.

A great result to add to the season as we continue to build momentum. 💛🖤

A tough afternoon at home against Palm Beach for our FQPL 3 Men, with both matches going right down to the wire.

U23s: 1–2 LOSS
First Grade: 2–3 LOSS

After spending the last few weeks on the sidelines, Nic returned with a bang, putting in a standout performance to earn Man of the Match honours. 👏⚽

It was a hard-fought and physical contest, with both teams battling fiercely from the first whistle to the last. Unfortunately, the results didn't fall our way, but there was no shortage of effort and determination across both grades.

The squad will regroup, recover and get ready to go again next week. 💛🖤

After what feels like weeks of rain, muddy boots and checking weather apps, we're excited to see some sunshine and a weekend of football ahead! ☀️⚽
It's a quieter weekend at home than we've had recently, with many of our teams hitting the road for away fixtures. We'll have games running throughout Saturday, with just two home games on Sunday.

If you're around the club this weekend, make sure you stop by and support our players and volunteers.
