This is a pretty cool little setup 👀

The new HIKCam A7E is designed to capture the action without getting in the way. Mounted straight onto the barrel, it gives you the chance to record your day from a completely different perspective.

It’ll shoot in 4K up to 60fps, has recoil-activated recording, pre-recording and 64GB of built-in storage — so you can concentrate on what you’re doing rather than worrying about hitting record at exactly the right moment.

🥾 How do you know if your hiking boots actually fit?!
The team at Alpine Country Outdoors are here to help.
Boots fit when your heel stays put, your toes don’t hit the front on downhills, and nothing pinches or has sore-points after a short walk.

Quick 7‑point check-list:
1️⃣ Heel movement
Stand, then lift your heels. Your heel should move less than ~¼ inch. More than that = blisters.
2️⃣ Toe room
Sit, push your foot forward, then check behind your heel. You should fit one finger. Less = too small; more = too big.
3️⃣ Width
Your foot shouldn’t spill over the insole, and there shouldn’t be lots of empty space. Brands vary a lot, so understanding this is important.
4️⃣ Socks
Try boots on with the actual socks you’ll hike in (e.g. merino wool), not just your everyday socks (unless you’d be wearing them).
5️⃣ Flex
Easy trails = softer, more flexible sole.
Rough, rocky, steep terrain = stiffer sole for support and protection.
6️⃣ Ankle support
Low = light day hikes on clear trails.
Mid = mixed/uneven ground.
High = steep, rocky, heavy‑pack hiking.
7️⃣ Lacing (heel lock technique)
Lace to the second‑to‑last eyelet, make two loops at the top, cross laces through opposite loops, pull down toward your heel and tie. This stops heel lift on downhills.
