✨ My 500th Post ✨
It’s been an incredible journey for my baby over these past 10years 🫶🏼
Pretty much the OG Pilates Instructor who started out teaching a Mums & Bubs class at the local park here in Bonnells Bay. Then decided to open my own studio on Mums property on the Central Coast. After a lot of renovation and construction I created Salt & Pilates 💜
A beautiful Himalayan Salt Meditation Cave where my clients came to do Pilates and then meditated in the natural salt 🧘🏼♀️ Meditation become an important practice in my life especially when Mum became sick.
Salt & Pilates was starting to boom and I had some really loyal clients who loved my classes. I even had an overseas retreat to Vietnam organised. But then my beautiful Mum lost her battle with cancer, Covid hit and I had to shut down Salt & Pilates 😢
Grieving the loss of my Mum and loosing my business really hit me hard. Feeling isolated in lockdown I decided to start online classes. And wow, they took off! I even picked up extra clients from overseas!
But I still missed my Pilates studio. There’s something about my connection with people that’s really special.
With my 2 daughters by my side, I juggled running my business and mum life. My girls have seen my dedication, drive and passion to keep going to make dreams into reality. I feel really proud for teaching them that 💪🏼
I could see an opportunity to open a Reformer Studio! There was no Reformer Studio’s around me, and I know how much people would love it so I decided to get my Reformers Pilates Certification and open another studio called Waterside Pilates 🩵 🩵 🩵
For months, no one came. I had taken this huge risk but I didn’t give up because I knew how fantastic my Reformer classes were! It’s about believing in yourself and your dreams.
Well the people came! To the extent that I’ve now taken over my husband’s shed with 12 Reformers and hundreds of people weekly. I am so proud of how far I’ve come, the journey I’ve been on and the people I’ve met along the way.
