The Mordialloc Redbacks Junior Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Shaun O’Donnell as Vice President.

Shaun has been involved with the club for several years as a committee member, coach and passionate supporter of the Redbacks community. We look forward to his contribution as he steps into this new role.

Congrats Shaun, and thank you for your continued commitment to our club and families.

Being selected to represent the league is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the hard work, dedication and commitment these boys continue to show throughout the season.

Round 6 Wrap & FightMND Community Round 💙❤️🤍

A fantastic weekend for the Redbacks community as we came together to support FightMND Community Round across all age groups.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our players, families and supporters, the club raised more than $2,000 for FightMND while proudly wearing Big Freeze socks throughout the round 👏💙

On the field, our teams continued to show great effort and sportsmanship across the weekend:

🔴 U11 Mixed defeated Devon Meadows 28–23
🔴 U12 Mixed defeated Seaford 39–9

It was fantastic to see all of our teams get behind such an important cause while representing the Redbacks with pride.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the FightMND fundraiser and helped make the round such a success ❤️

This Sunday our Redbacks will proudly be supporting FightMND Community Round 🔴⚪🕷️

All teams across the club will be wearing Big Freeze 12 socks to help raise awareness and support the fight against Motor Neurone Disease.

We’re proud to stand alongside the wider football community in supporting such an important cause 💙

Our Redbacks are back in action this Sunday with teams competing right around the peninsula 🙌❤️🏉

This weekend we also recognise National Reconciliation Week, acknowledging the importance of unity, respect and reconciliation within our communities ❤️🖤💛

We’ll also be supporting FightMND Community Round across the weekend, with all Redbacks teams proudly wearing Big Freeze 12 socks 💙

Round 5 wrap 🔴⚪🕷️

Another fantastic Sunday of footy for our Redbacks, with all teams playing at home before a great afternoon back at Ben Kav 🙌❤️

A huge congratulations to our Under 12s and Under 11s who both came away with strong wins this weekend 👏

🔴 U12 Mixed defeated Frankston YCW 53-9
🔴 U11 Mixed defeated Pearcedale Baxter 40-16

Our Under 13s also battled hard in a great contest, finishing with a draw against Somerville 💪🏉

A special shoutout to two of our Under 12 players who celebrated their 50 game milestones this weekend, what an amazing achievement! ❤️👏

Great to see our players proudly wearing their new reversible jumpers supported by Community Bank Parkdale ❤️

It was also fantastic to see all of our younger teams out there continuing to build confidence, teamwork and skills across the day 🙌

Thank you to all players, coaches, volunteers and families who joined us back at Ben Kav after the games for another great club afternoon 🔴⚪

Join us back upstairs at Ben Kav from 4pm after the games for our “Back to Ben Kav” afternoon, with coaches providing team updates and game awards, plus hot dogs for the kids and snacks for parents 🌭🙌

Another big weekend of footy for our Redbacks, with teams competing right across the peninsula 🙌

A huge congratulations to our Under 12s who came away with a fantastic 36-18 win over Beleura 👏❤️

Our Under 11s and Under 13s also showed great effort, determination and resilience against strong opposition 💪🏉

It was fantastic to see all of our younger teams out there continuing to build confidence, skills and teamwork across the weekend 🙌
