Celestial Charm went one better than her debut run to win on the Kensington track today and provide I Am A Star with another winner. We purchased the full sister to both Celestial Charm and Esha at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale this year and just 7.5% remains.

She broke in without issue and is enjoying a spell on The Peninsula before coming back into work to resume training.

We've had a lot of success with the family and this filly is sure to add to that record.

Blondie’s Toronado makes it a winning double at Swan Hill for the stable with Jackie Beriman. The pair came with a barnstorming run down the middle of the track to claim the North West Ag Quambatook Cup over 1200m.

It was a long day for the team with three runners across the day, beginning in Race 2 and having to wait until the last but it will be an enjoyable truck ride home we’re sure.

Well done to Carol O’Shea’s Innisfree Thoroughbreds thoroughbreds who own the four-year-old Toronado mare. She’s out of Carol’s mare Blondie who is also the dam of stable winner Blondie’s Award and we have Blondie’s Gal coming through the ranks also.

Well done to our team at Mornington.

Relinquishing made it a winning debut at Swan Hill on Saturday claiming the 975m dash for two-year-old’s under Jackie Beriman. She’s had to travel a long way for her debut run but it will be an enjoyable ride home down the freeway.

She’s a smart filly by Newgate Farm’s first season stallion Wild Ruler and we secured her at the Magic Millions on the Gold Coast for $200,000 from the Kingstar draft. Matthew Sandblom stayed in the ownership with Kevin and Pauline Fitzpatrick and Greg Pease, who’s silks she runs in.

She’s a filly that we’ve always had a really good opinion of and it was great to see her claim her maiden at her first start and we’ll look to place her effectively in the early part of the Spring.

Well done to our team at Mornington who put in the work each morning.

There was no Group 1 hangover for Teo Nugent after his SA Derby success yesterday, riding High Ambitions to victory at Sale today in a tough win!

It was just his fourth career start and first run of a new campaign so it's great to get off on a winning note. He had to be tough to the line to fight off the challenger and Teo got everything out of him.

A $70,000 Inglis Classic Purchase by Shane Nichols Racing, he's always been a horse we've liked in the stable but he's just taken a little bit of time to put it together and still has plenty of improvement to come.

He'll likely head to the 1400m next start after claiming the win at the six furlongs and we'll find another suitable race to keep building his confidence and keep him progressing.

Well done to Group 1-winning hoop Teo Nugent, the ownership group and our team at Mornington!

Fenestella broke her maiden in impressive fashion at Geelong today, relishing the step up to 1760m under Dylan Dunn.

We’ve always had a lot of time for this Brazen Beau filly and knew she’d be really effective up in trip when she got there. She’s a filly that will certainly be winning nicer races. She’s still only three and there’s plenty more in store.

Fenestella continues our excellent run with progeny of Brazen Beau following Brazen Song and Brazen Style. We purchased her from the Magic Millions Sale on the Gold Coast and we still have opportunities available in a Brazen Beau filly from years Magic Millions.

An emotional win for Blondie’s Award who was a runaway winner at Cranbourne over 1000m tonight under Zac Spain. It’s the first winner in Carol O’Shea’s colours since she lost her husband Andy a period ago so it was great to get the win.

She’s come back in excellent order this prep with a second placing first-up at Sale over the same trip and then winning here tonight. She’s a filly we think will get further over time but happy just to take her there quietly. She’s by Shamus Award but her mother, Blondie, won the Listed Crocket Stakes over 1200m at The Valley so this filly has taken more to the dam-side.

Well done to our team at Mornington who do an excellent job.

Our Brazen Beau x Siyaadeh filly has nearly completed her breaking prep. She has graduated to the race stable at Mornington where she will have a look around the tracks we have on offer before she has a break and then will come back into work to be tried early.

She’s continuing to develop into a strong, well-grown filly. I fancied her to be really early and her breaking prep hasn’t deterred that thinking at all.

Siyaadeh is a speedy Written Tycoon mare and has produced the two foals to race, one being a winner and the two-year-old has had two starts for two placings.

Brazen Beau is a very consistent stallion and one we’ve had a bit of success with in the past. We trained Group 3 winner Brazen Style by the stallion and also had Brazen Song who won $350,000 for the stable. I also have a lot of time for a 2yo filly out of a mare called Borderline that we bought last year.

Opportunities remain at cost, what we pay, you pay! Get in touch to find out more about this early-going filly.
