Hi Crank Up Courage community, you've seen me mentioning the White Bike Foundation throughout various posts. Now take a moment to let this important message sink in 🙏

Whatever mode of transport you're taking today (and every day), . 11 years today – never forgotten.

In 2015, Joel Hawkins was hit by a car while cycling on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia.

Joel was 17 years old and pursuing a dream when his journey was cut short.

We believe that everybody has the right to use the road safely and complete their journey.

The White Bike Foundation exists to drive respect on Australian roads for everybody who uses them.

Thanks to everyone who shared photos and videos as part of our recent campaign.
As promised, Crank Up Courage has made a donation of $140 to support the incredible work of the White Bike Foundation.
The White Bike Foundation aims to educate and protect all road users by funding school programs and awareness campaigns that promote mutual respect, visual awareness, and safety on the road.
Every photo, video and share helped spread the word and contributed to this donation.

Progress update from a Crank Up Courage family.

"Riding is still a firm favourite daily activity here and today’s outing took us on a new challenge: the pump track.
Dec 31st- would not touch a pedal bike
Jan 1- Crank up Courage lesson: pedaling independently within 15 mins
April 4- nailing the pump track
What stands out to us is the confidence and control when wobbles happen.
Cannot thank you enough!"
