Hi all
To all our new players and our returning players and families welcome to Moorooduc cricket club and our junior cricket program.

This season we will continue to make it fun for everyone, the importance of being part of a team and supporting their team mates and of course we will teach them how to play cricket.

We are all about the kids playing cricket and enjoying the game hence why our program is FREE

Our first 2 training sessions have been all about getting to know each other and a bit of fun and when we recommence on the 29th we will start working on our skills and getting the kids into all the gear

We have already had a good response to registrations and would love to add another 6 under 10’s players and 6 under 12’s players to this group.

📣UNDER 12’s CRICKET PLAYERS NEEDED
We have had a great response to our junior program but we still need 6 under 12’s players to be able to get this team up.

Training on Tuesdays 4.30 - 5.30pm
Game days Wednesday 4.30 - 7,00pm

Located at Dallas Brooks Oval
Mornington/Tyabb Rd, Mornington

No experience and have not played before, not a problem and we will teach you the game.
FREE CRICKET, EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED

Feel like your not getting a go at the bigger clubs, problem solved come and join us at Moorooduc and be part of the team

Child Safety is our utmost priority as we encourage a safe, fun and respectful environment as our junior players learn our great game, make new friends and become a important member of our club along with their families.

As part of our commitment to Children and Young People, Moorooduc Cricket club in conjunction with Cricket Victoria seeks to:​

a) provide a safe and supportive environment for Children and Young People;​
b) ensure that the experiences of Children and Young People are free from any form of Prohibited Conduct including Child Abuse or Grooming;
c) empower Children and Young People to act and respond to behaviour that is not acceptable or inappropriate;​
d) publicise and make available the Codes of Behaviour that underpin our sport;
e) make information available on who Children and Young People can approach if they feel unsafe or they become aware of or are concerned about any form of Prohibited Conduct including Child Abuse or Grooming;​
f) establish a reporting framework that allows Children and Young People and others to report any incident affecting the safety and wellbeing of Children and Young People; and​
g) provide support services to any Child or Young Person and their families who might be affected by any form of Prohibited Conduct including Child Abuse or Grooming.​
h) we are committed to making sure that all children and young people have the right to feel safe and be free to enjoy the game of cricket.

Moorooduc Cricket Club want to make playing cricket affordable for all our juniors.

Registration will open in June for the 2026/27 season which will commence mid October.

This season when you Register with Moorooduc Cricket Club you will only have to pay the insurance component.

Each child who registers will receive

Free protector

Limited to the first 20 juniors who register to play

These legends have just completed their first season of cricket, a glimpse of our future and rebuilding of our junior program.

We had heaps of fun while learning the basics and from start to finish continued to improve.
They also beat the parents tonight in their final game. Well done all and see you next season.
