Calling all players from U12 to U14s

Rugby Victoria is now calling for Expressions of Interest for the 2026 Victorian Junior Regional Championships (VJRC) for U12 and U14 players. The VJRC is open to any player aged 11 to 14 and participants do not have to be connected to a current Rugby Victoria club to get involved. Moorabbin players will be in the South region (Waring).

The VJRC provides young players with the opportunity to:
* Represent their regions and Rugby Victoria
* Play alongside some of the best junior players from across Victoria
* Develop their skills in a representative environment
* Experience higher-level coaching and competition
* Build connections with players and coaches from across the state

PROGRAM DETAILS

Moorabbin players will be in the South region (Waring) and training will be held at Endeavour Hills.

The program will run over 3 weeks and 6 sessions, with dates and times confirmed below.
Session 1 October 21 - Wednesday 630-8pm
Session 2 October 25 - Sunday 2-4pm
Session 3 October 28 - Wednesday 630-8pm
Session 4 November 1 - Sunday 2-4pm
Session 5 November 4 - Wednesday 630-8pm
Session 6 November 8 - Sunday 2-4pm

Selected players will be able to represent their regions;
* North - Woorowoor
* West - Beek
* East - Treang
* South - Waring

Our Moorabbin reps put in a great effort at the Australian Rugby Championships and the Senior men won 4 from 4 matches to bring home the shield.

Congratulations to our three Rams players that have been selected in the VIC state teams heading to play for the Australian Rugby Shield. It’s a great privilege to represent the State and we wish these three and their teams all the best in the upcoming competition.
