Seniors wishing to nominate a Basketball team for the upcoming season must register using the link below by the 19th of September and then provide their team link to their players to register. Teams must have a minimum of 5 players registered also by the 19th of September.

Registrations are not yet open, as soon as we have the go ahead from BWA we will let you know, thank you for your patience.

𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐬
Are you wondering why our fees look a little different this season? It’s because the Merredin Basketball Association sets its own fees first, and then the mandatory Basketball WA (BWA) and Basketball Australia (BA) fees are added on top. These external fees come to approximately $60 per player, though they are lower for Aussie Hoops participants.

If you need to use your KidSport funding to pay for your child’s shorts, please email [email protected] with your child’s name and short size. Do NOT order shorts through PlayHQ, as you will be required to pay for them at checkout.

On Tuesday, 1 September, the Merredin Basketball Association held the first session of our Game On Girls Development Camp. It was fantastic to see so many girls eager to learn new skills, meet new people, and build on the abilities they already have.

We are incredibly lucky to have Kelly Webb volunteering her time to coordinate this program. Her experience, knowledge, and passion for developing young players is invaluable as these girls prepare for the 26/27 Basketball Season.

Our Have‑a‑Go Day is back. If you’re unsure whether basketball is for you, or if you’d simply like to brush up on your skills, come along and get involved. Our committee will also be available on the day to help you sign up for the season.

We will also be hosting Country Week try outs. Please refer to the poster for your age group and scheduled time.
