Congratulations to the U15A girls, U14A boys and U13A girls for their big wins in the finals over the weekend. They now join the AAW in the Grand Finals this coming weekend.
We'll post details shortly of when and where you can go and support them. Well done teams!

Call out to all teams from Juniors and Community level (that are not in finals series) that there will be two gear/kit* returns this week.

Mason will be at the clubhouse from 5-6pm both Tuesday and Thursday this week.

*Sponsored kits are yours to keep and don’t need to be returned.

U13 boys- an awesome effort, but going down to end their season in the semis. Well done boys, MUFC are proud of you! ❤️

U13G, U14, U15G- all teams unfortunately losing their semi, but all play again next week for a last chance ticket to the grand final! Merewether is behind you all!! ⚽️

AAW- an UNBELIEVABLE on-the-run goal gave the MUFC Rays a 1-0 win today, sending them directly to the BIG DANCE!! 💃🏼 Girls- we are so proud of you 🫶🏼

Last night, in partnership with Newcastle Jets , we were lucky enough to have Joel Bertolissio & Oscar Gonzalez join some of our junior teams in a training session and meet & greet.

The boys made their way through a packed out Myamblah field filled with lots of smiling and excited faces!

Thanks again to the boys and The Jets, we hope to have you back soon!

WOW! What an amazing season for everyone at Merewether United. We have a number of teams heading into the semis this year- U15G, U14, U13A, U13GA and our AAW who are also Minor Premiers! AMAZING effort everyone!

Our ZFL teams continue through their season with a few matches left and EVERYTHING to play for- keep pushing boys!

To our Miniroos, we hope you enjoyed a much drier season this year and had a brilliant last game (for most of you!) this past weekend. We look forward to seeing our U6 to U11 teams on Sunday August 23rd at Myamblah for presentation- details to come.

And finally to our players, coaches and managers, committee, families, community, our supporters, our Merewether family- thank you for your ongoing support of our club. We wouldn't be who we are without you!
