Your Azzurri boys are into the 2026 Grand Final!!
After a hard fought game on a cow paddock, the boys in blue were not only making perfect passes but also dodging stray cow dungs.
A few opportunities went missing, including a kieren slice and kick his own foot.
However it was Kieren himself who would end up the hero of the day after finishing the goal in the exact same spot as his double leg miss earlier. Some say he didn’t want Jake to claim the assist and that’s why he missed earlier.

The game got tight but the Azzurri boys held well through Blake’s saves, the back lines covering and some award winning falling over from Nic that was earning crucial positioning.

After the game, reporters interviewed star players on their win and Ben had this to say “the supporters were the real driving engine of our win today, hearing them cheer us on was just as important as the goal”.
Shoutout to everyone who turned up and supported the team, we saw and heard you loud and proud!!
(Just look at those immaculate heads in the ground in the photo)

The boys did well to hold out and keep the clean sheet to book their place in the GF in 2 weeks!!

SEMI FINAL!!
This Saturday your Azzurri boys take on their first final, 3pm at Bowthorne Park 1, Wallalong.
Make sure to get on down to the field to support your favourite sporting team and cheer them on to victory!!
Bit of a trek for everyone but your support means the most to all of us ⚽️⚽️

Regular season Undefeated!!
The Azzurri boys continue the undefeated run with a hard fought 1-1 draw.
With many players out this week, the boys made their best efforts to form a starting 11 which consisted of hangovers, sickness and injuries around the team.
Eddy was called upon out of season ending injury with tape, bandaids, bandages, paper and what looked like possibly socks wrapped around his knee.
The game was tight with both sides fighting but Eddy off the bench put a sublime ball across goal for Jake to secure our goal on his milestone match of 100 games for the club.
Blake made unreal saves, Hugh and Kieren put their bodies on the line and Boz got clipped, tried to reenact the sinking of the Titanic and a foul was called against him. Scott has said he’d take him to classes on the art of diving and getting pens.
A huge effort from the lads today to secure another regular season undefeated. One week off and then into the finals. Get around your azzurrri boys as they push on through the finals!!

Back to winning ways!!
Your Azzurri lads secure a 2-1 win on another cold Tuesday night. A full available squad turned up to make sure the boys got the W.
Superstitions came out of the woodwork where boots were kissed, deep heat was applied in questionable areas and popcorn was eaten all in the name of goals.
Boz got the scoring off to a swift start, nuttying the keeper sublimely.
Not long after that, the darkness got the better of the boys as the opposition used dark magic and got one back and nuttied Blake.
Some very average plays followed including a garbage corner kick from Nic who blamed the ground for his pass doing a u-turn.
Although the boys weren’t having any of it and after the usual 1000 shots, a goal finally arrived with no other than Bryce the man of mystery pumping the ball into the net.
Bryce was eager to get the game going again as he started on the opposition half as kick off commenced again.

Through his usual non-stop running and gunning, dribbling past players and somehow keeping the ball while on the ground and sprinting at the same time, our MVP for this match is Jamo!

Final game of the regular season upcoming this Saturday before finals kick off! Get behind the azzurri boys for the run home!!

MINOR PREMIERS!
After what feels like 2 years since our last game, the Azzurri boys clinch the Minor Premiership with a very scrappy draw.
There were bittersweet feelings after the game as the Azzurri boys knew we did not have our best game. But to secure the Minor Premiership 2nd season in a row and remain undefeated, the boys continue to charge to the finals.

A few wayward shots and some errors all over the pitch summed up the game today. But from a great effort and goal from Jamo, the boys secured the draw.

Shared MVP today, with Zac and Jamo taking the spoils. Both players were seen drinking out of the glorious mug with straws to make sure it was shared.

Onto the next game midweek, Tuesday night 8pm!

Back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory for your Azzurri boys today!! The game started off well with a follow-up shot from Benny which made the keeper pull out a world-class save!
After another pearler of a ball from CB magician Kaleb, Asher thought he’d go on an adventure and whip a shot over the keeper from the edge of the box. The defence has claimed that midfield or strikers aren’t needed with the connection for the goal, and the boys are said to field a 4-0-0 with Blake in goal for next game for their efforts.

That wasn’t enough for the boys in blue and Scotty found himself in some close quarters when he wore keeper gloves as a choker. It was voted unanimously that the fashion statement was in bad taste so a penalty was awarded. Who else but iceman Zac to slot the goal home.

Cracker of an effort from all the boys to get the win from a hard contest. Now with a week off the boys recuperate and rest injuries and will be back in 2 weeks!

Tied MvP for this week with Asher and Jake deciding to share sips from the illustrious mug!! Feat a jealous Zac.

Huge game from your Azzurri boys today! Starting with no subs and a few of the boys playing injured, there were early signs of a goal. It was looking tidy when Nic’s long shot rebounded for the cleaner to finish, although it was called for a questionable offside.
After some foul play, the boys thought the game had switched to rugby league after 10 mins.
Blake was taken and out and there were claims for goals, fouls on Azzurri and complaints to get free kicks but that didn’t stop the azzurri boys from pushing.
Hero Zac turned up to lift the spirits and gave us a sub, although he was also injured.
After conceding a decent free kick goal, your boys in blue didn’t stop the pressure, and after 100 chances at goals, the goal finally arrived from killer midfielder, Jake the snake. Finishing off a pass from free kick extraordinaire Asher!

The game ended 1-1 Draw
Undefeated streak continues!!
Shoutout to the boys who turned up and put an absolute shift in and didn’t drop their heads after constant tackles that led to injuries all over the field!
