Sometimes I think we forget how powerful we really are.
A week ago, I was standing outside my home and realised I hadn’t seen a butcher bird here for a while. Six months… maybe even twelve.
I stood there and thought, Where are you? Please come back.
The next day, he was sitting at my window. And a week later, he’s still here. Its moments like this that remind me just how powerful we are.
Because perhaps we have far more influence over our lives, our energy and the world around us than we give ourselves credit for. We are powerful. Our thoughts are powerful. Our words are powerful. Our intentions are powerful.
And sometimes, when we slow down enough to notice, life has a beautiful way of showing us just how much.

I had two beautiful women join me for tea this morning. It was their very first tea ceremony, after being referred by a friend.
I love this practice and feel so grateful to share it, but there's always that quiet wondering... Will it be received with the same openness and reverence with which it's offered?
While every ceremony unfolds exactly as it needs to, these two women received it so beautifully. Hearing them speak about how deeply they loved the experience, the space, and the gentle stillness it created was such a gift. Their words reminded me why I continue to open these doors and pour each bowl with intention.
What a privilege it is to share this simple, yet profoundly potent, practice.

✨ Sunday Swap ✨

Sunday Swap has been a vision of mine for a long time.

A vision of returning to the old ways. Before everything became so transactional. When communities gathered, shared what they had, and exchanged their gifts with one another.

Instead of paying for your place, you simply bring something from your heart. It might be herbs or flowers from your garden, homemade preserves, something you've crafted by hand, seasonal produce, or even a skill or service you'd love to share.

Each Sunday Swap will be a little different, evolving with the seasons and the community that gathers. Some mornings may begin with a Tea Ceremony, others with gentle yoga, Yoga Nidra, meditation, or another nourishing practice. Afterwards, we'll gather around our shared offerings, connect, exchange, and celebrate the abundance that already exists within our community.

To me, Sunday Swap is more than an event.

It's a gentle return to another way of living. One where community is woven into everyday life. Where generosity is valued over transactions, and where simple acts of giving and receiving become deeply meaningful.

I truly believe we all have something beautiful to offer, and I can't wait to watch this vision unfold.

I'm holding a Rest & Replenish afternoon on Saturday 2-4pm at Metta Wellness Space— a deeply nourishing 2-hour reset with Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra.

And I'd love to offer one free space to someone in our community who could really use some gentle care right now.
Maybe you're running on empty. Maybe you're holding a lot and haven't had space to soften. Maybe you just know, in your bones, that you need this — but the cost feels like one more thing you can't quite manage.
