There is still an opportunity to sign up for our second Come and Try Session supported by

📍Where: Gisborne
📅 When: Sunday 30th August
⏰ Time: Arrive at 1:15pm for a 1:30pm start, finishing around 3:30pm.

Did you hear? To celebrate Wear it Purple day 2026, we’re holding a pop up Basketball Come & Try with C A R L T O N B A T H S & Chase Basketball !

This event is for LGBTQIA+ young people and allies, it is a chance to come together, meet new friends and give basketball a go with no pressure!

📆 Saturday 29th August

10 - 14yrs - 5pm till 6pm
15 - 18yrs - 6pm till 7pm

📍Carlton Baths

Dress code: active-friendly clothes, with rainbows and purple encouraged!

We’re super excited to announce that we are teaming up with C A R L T O N B A T H S & Chase Basketball to hold a Pop Up Basketball Come & Try event for Wear it Purple day 🎉

This event is for LGBTIQA+ young people and their allies. Whether you’re a seasoned basketballer or it’s your first time giving basketball a go, we’ve got you covered with Coach Sami taking you through some drills and skills. Deets below 👇
