The 15th on the North Course pays homage to the great American golf course architect George C. Thomas Jr., a designer renowned for creating holes that could be fundamentally transformed simply by adjusting the tee or pin position - giving rise to multiple distinct versions of the same hole.
The 15th embodies that philosophy perfectly. With the pin tucked in a demanding back-left position, the hole stretches into a short par 5. Move the pin, and the character of the hole shifts entirely - the course yields a new challenge, a tighter, more decisive long par 4 where bold play is not just encouraged, but required.
