Mark the date and time people, it looks like my YouTube channel is officially dead 😭 😭 😭
Today I have tried to upload a Gary Moorcroft career highlights video to celebrate 25 years since his legendary mark, and I'm afraid this has been immediately blocked multiple times and I can't figure out a way around it.
I started my channel in 2009 when I was trying to find highlights of old Essendon victories and discovered there weren't many out there at the time. So, I decided to make my own. Eventually I started uploading highlights from each current season and my views grew and grew. Then in 2023 the new videos started getting copyright blocked and despite numerous workaround attempts, I was unsuccessful in getting past these blocks and my views started to drop off again.
I continued to upload old highlights (which realistically is all we have at the moment 😢) to keep my channel alive and I've really enjoyed putting together the career highlights packages for champion players. But it takes a lot of work to do this, and if the videos are going to be instantly blocked so nobody can see them, it's just not worth the time and effort anymore.
Honestly, I'm pretty upset about this and if anyone has any suggestions as to what I might be able to do, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm not going to close my channel or take down any of the old videos, but for the time being at least I won't be creating or posting anything new.
Thank you to all the Bomber fans who have supported my channel over the past 17 years. Here's sincerely hoping that our fortunes improve sometime soon and we can start to see some of the success we've been longing for. As always, GO BOMBERS!!! 🔴⚫️
