As you may have heard, work is now underway to resurface our much-loved Silverdome velodrome.

For more than 40 years, the Tasmanian oak track has played an important role in our cycling community, supporting generations of riders through training, racing and athlete development.

The specialist repairs, full-track sanding and new line markings will improve rider safety and help secure the track’s future for years to come.

Thank you to the Tasmanian Government, Minister for Sport Nick Duigan MLC and Stadiums Tasmania for this important investment in Tasmanian cycling.

Medal moment for Megan Moore! 🥉

The Balmoral rider wins bronze in the 3000m IP at the UCI Junior Track World Championships.

She qualified 4th with a new Australian record of 3:31.572 🇦🇺

Then, she backed up in the final with a 3:32.638 to best her Danish competitor. Congratulations, Megan!

The Oceania Track Championships are coming to Melbourne! Bring it on 😍

The Oceania region's premier track cycling championships return to Australia in 2027, with Melbourne hosting the 2027 Oceania Track Championships 16-20 February.

It is the first time in over 10 years Melbourne will host the Championships. 44 titles will be decided across elite and under 19 men's and women's events, and up to 58 titles in para-cycling.
