Today's paddle at cambells cove.. Back in the salt water and playing in the small waves!
Had a ball, and hopefully covid restrictions ease more and we get to enjoy the fast approaching summer.

Last day of the 5km covid restriction .. so decided to travel to to the only salt water beach within that zone for a quick paddle in the waves this afternoon..
Let me share something..... It was nice to be back in the saltwater!!
Next week sees a change of restrictions that lets us travel within 25km of home for recreation and exercise and I can't wait to get down to a nicer beach and paddle with company..

Finally got out on the water this morning before the gale set in.. nice to get a paddle in and have been really missing it these last 2 months of lockdown.

Cold feet are not fun, cutting your feet on a sharp object hurts.This is why during winter I choose to wear footwear whilst paddling the ski. Footwear for paddling comes in many different forms, from the trusty old runners to high-end waterproof socks. Today I will be looking at my preferred choice in winter, the Sea To Summit Ultra Flex Bo**ie, what I like about them, and why I bought a second pair! [ 576 more words ]

Best Footwear I have tried for paddling- The single velcro loop that wraps low around the ankle, allowing you to secure the boot to your foot without hampering your movement is perfect!

Conditions like glass this morning. Perfect for working on my paddling technique (which isn't great!). Found a new area of the lake with much less w**d and could actually paddle around doing 1km laps without coming to a completed stop..
