Today we played for the September medal, in fine weather we played the front 9 twice. Our winner was Veronica Park (20) 69 nett, the runner up was Andrea Thorson (9) 70 nett, Andrea won the putting with 28, down the line balls to Louise Vuillerman 76, Jan Trease 77.

Today Meeniyan had a team of three play in the Lang Lang Ladies Bowl, Louise Vuillerman won B Grade with the best score of all the ladies with a fabulous 40 points, dropping her handicap from 27.6 down to 26.6. Well done Louise . Lang Lang ladies won their Bowl with 102 pts.

Today the ladies played a 2 person Ambrose in beautiful sunshine, the winners were Sue Hoskin and Irene Holm with 71.75 runners, the runners up were Tanya Thorson and Susan Straw 74.5 with Louise Vuillermin and Jenny Cope winning a ball each.

This weeks men’s results

Tuesdays the lads played the front 9 twice with Phil Hutcheson coming out on top with 36pts, Rup Pete Wilson 36pts DTL Lloyd Hemphill 32pts and Brian Erving 31pts. NTPs 2nd Phil Hutcheson and the pro pin on the 8th Brian Erving.

Saturday was medal day back on all 18 holes.
Mike Steele was a comfortable winner with 73nett, Rup Mat Vanboven 77nett DTL Brian Erving 78nett, Will Bullock 78nett, John Dumont 78nett, Peter Wilson 79nett and Lloyd Hemphill 79nett. NTPs 11th Will Bullock and the pro pin on the 8th Neil Park and the putts winner was Peter Wilson with 27.

Meeniyan ladies played the front nine twice today after the very wet week we had last week. Our winner today was Jenny a open(36) with 32 points, the runner up was Irene Holm 28 pts, DLB Susan Straw 27.
Last week’s results (sorry I was a tad busy) had Susan Straw as trophy donor as well our July Medal winner with 78 nett from Dot Christie 78 and DLB Irene Holm also 78 nett. Faye LePage won the putter.

Today the ladies played Par with Rita Wells our sponsor, it was lovely seeing Rita today in the clubhouse after play, Rita has moved closer to her family downtown. Today’s winner was Tanya Thorson with +3, Irene Holm the runner up with +1, DLB Gail Browns square , and Faye LePage -3.
