VETS MONDAY

Forty two golfers hit off in the monthly medal stableford on Monday. There was one visitor from Grafton, John Taylor , and he really did enjoy the day . That went to Charlie Allen who was the best of the members with his 38 points. Charlie also took home the $30 runners up voucher. Well done Charlie. In 3rd place was Steve Morris with 37 points. Steve won the free game voucher and the free drink voucher went to Don Skaines for his 36 points.
Ball winners were Don 36, Tony Turner and Phil Hocking - 35, Mark Hemmy , Phil Robinson , Graham Millard, John Porter and Richard Parker all with 33, and finally Geoff Grayson, Graham Lloyd and Gunny Dickinson all with 32 .
Nearest the pins were won by John Taylor and Deanna Roberts on the 2nd, Glenn Brown and Vero Morgan on the 7th, Don Skaines on the 11th and Deanna Roberts again on the 17th. The 2 thistle hole vouchers went to Richard Parker and Deanna Roberts.
Next week there is no Vets golf. Being a public holiday there will be a club run competition. Our next game is a single stableford on the 15th and the following Monday the 22nd Maclean is hosting the Woodburn / Evans Head group for the first round of the Koala Cup.
