Round 4 C series - J track

Had an amazing weekend out at Morgan Park Raceway trying out on the new J track in the BMW.

- Placed 2nd in my class
- J track lap PB: 1:39.5

The car went great apart from the axle popping out of the diff occasionally. The weather was good while on track (apart from the heat). But also had a big storm come through Saturday afternoon blowing and ruining gazebos while wetting everything that you wouldn’t think was possible to get wet.

Had a few close calls while racing on the J track i didnt like the J turn to start with but i have really appreciated the change and have learned how to tackle the corner and am now really liking it. We loosened the rear sway bar and it helped a lot with my drifting problems. 😂

I really enjoyed being up front having a battle with the Flaxmans, we all had our code brown moments but performed well. Thank yous for the load of fun.

Unfortunately I will not be attending this weekend for the R2 C sprints. 😔

I have cut my hand and will be needing time to let it heal.

I’m okay, just annoyed that I can’t be on the track.
I hope everyone does well this weekend!

Had a great weekend out at Morgan park on the K track.

With new tyres the car and i performed really well getting down to a 1:29.4 and placing 2nd in my class!

I have posted the lap below and also some off road action.
