It’s Pink Week at the Courts! 💗
Join us as we turn the courts pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Wear your pink ribbons, pink zinc, pink socks, pink netball bibs, and any other pink accessories you can find! Together, we can raise awareness, show our support, and stand in solidarity with those impacted by breast cancer.

What a weekend of netball! 🏐
Another Winter Carnival is officially done and dusted, and what an incredible weekend it was!

A huge thank you to all of our players, parents, umpires, coaches, managers, and volunteers who helped make the carnival such a success. Your time, dedication, support, and team spirit are what make our club so special.

To our players - thank you for representing Saints with pride, determination, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm across the weekend. We loved seeing you support one another, celebrate successes, and give your all on the court.

To our coaches, managers, and umpires - thank you for your commitment, encouragement, and countless hours behind the scenes. Your efforts do not go unnoticed.

And to our parents and volunteers - thank you for the early mornings, sideline support, transport, setup, pack-up, and everything in between. We couldn’t do it without you.

We hope everyone had a fantastic weekend, created lasting memories, and enjoyed being part of the Saints family. 💙

Now it’s time to rest, recover, and reflect on an amazing carnival. Well done, Saints! 👏

Saints Winter Carnival Checklist - Let’s help everyone prepare for a big weekend of netball!

Player Preparation (Starting Friday).
💧 Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Drink plenty of water throughout the day and continue across the weekend.
🤸‍♀️ Get your mobility in… Stretch, move, and prepare your body for a full weekend of netball.
🍎 Fuel your body. Back-to-back games require plenty of energy. Focus on nutritious meals and snacks, and consider a carbohydrate-rich dinner (such as pasta) the night before game day.
🏐 Shooters - get some extra practice in. A few extra shots before the carnival can help build confidence heading into the weekend.
😴 Prioritise sleep. Aim for at least 8 hours of sleep each night to ensure you are rested and ready to perform.

🎒 Parents, Please Make Sure Your Player Has:
• Lunch packed in an esky or lunch box with ice bricks
• Plenty of nutritious, energy-filled food and snacks
• Lots of water - Extra hydration options (electrolyte tablets or sports drinks).
• A hat, Saints polo shirt and Sunscreen.

Being prepared will help your players stay fuelled, hydrated, comfortable, and ready to give their best effort throughout the carnival.

Winter Carnival March Past! 💙💛

All junior teams are required to attend the Winter Carnival March Past on Saturday morning.

🕗 March starts at 8:00am
📍 Please arrive by 7:30am for a 7:45am assemble. Meet at Saints tent to be directed to assemble area.

Let’s show our Saints pride and be loud, proud, and united in our club colours! The March Past is a fantastic Winter Carnival tradition, with every club coming together to kick off the weekend.

Bring your Saints spirit, big smiles, and plenty of enthusiasm as we start what promises to be an amazing weekend of netball!

Our nominee is Caitlyn for her incredible contribution as our Coach and Player Development Coordinator.
Caitlyn plays a vital role in our club, coaching our 14/16s as well as leading the Mackay Monarchs 13B representative team. She is deeply committed to developing our players, building their confidence, skills and love for the game.
What makes Caitlyn’s contribution even more remarkable is her dedication — travelling from Moranbah each week to support our club and wider association. Her commitment, energy and passion for netball do not go unnoticed and have a lasting impact on everyone around her.

• Modified SET - Born 2015 – 2016
• Modified GO A/B - Born 2013 – 2014
JUNIOR COMPETITION - SATURDAY
• U12's - Born 2011 – 2012
• U14's - Born 2009 – 2010
• U16's - Born 2007 – 2008
SENIOR COMPETITION - WEDNESDAY NIGHT
• 17 years and older are classified as a "senior" player only - Born 2006 or earlier
• 15 and 16 years (2007 and 2008) have the opportunity to either play on a Saturday or Wednesday night or both (taking into consideration school/work commitments)
