Walco Seed Cleaning is joining Barossa Rodeo 2026 as a Gold Partner.

Kurt Walter and Merey Colquhoun started the business in 2005, and more than 20 years on it’s still family owned and 100% Aussie, running as a mobile on-farm operation out of Halbury.

Seed grading, seed cleaning and seed dressing all come to the farm, so growers get clean, healthy seed ready for sowing.

Kurt learned the trade from industry veteran Ian Sanders before starting Walco, and they know a bit about winning too, with Grand Champion titles from 2021 through to 2025.

We’re grateful to have them backing Barossa Rodeo. Get behind a local business and give them a follow.
