What a weekend we had in Lismore!
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the weekend what it was. It was great to see so many fresh faces stepping up and training in key officiating positions, helping out the club and doing an awesome job. I honestly can’t thank you enough.
There were a few speed bumps along the way, but it’s not every day you see a bunch of road racers who are normally used to going as fast as they possibly can showing some good patience while we worked through a few problems! Credit to everyone for that.
Overall, the event ran really smoothly, it was a bloody good weekend of racing, and we welcomed a few new riders to the club as well!
We had a few special moments along the way too:
🎉 Gordon Northam celebrated his 80th birthday by finishing on the podium in the 30-minute Enduro. How good is that!
🍳 A Father’s Day BBQ on Sunday to keep everyone fed.
🏆 And a new lap record from Callum Campbell!
This club is only as good as the people who put their time and effort into it, and weekends like this really show what we can achieve when everyone chips in.
