Brooke was asked about our name this week - “why ‘Ripple’?”

our name reflects our mission and ethos, while paying homage to our location by the sea and to our vinyasa practice.

water can embody a serene stillness, a sense of steady and calm, yet it also holds the capacity for immense strength and power. we believe that these qualities mirror the essence of a vinyasa practice beautifully; we are given the space to explore the stillness within ourselves, allowing our breath to flow like a gentle current, while also tapping into our inner strength and resilience.

through any practice of yoga, we unlock the potential for growth, resilience, and transformation. our name encapsulates our belief that the positive changes we cultivate on the mat have the power to radiate outward, affecting not just our lives but the communities we are a part of.

join us in harnessing inner stillness and strength, knowing that these qualities can ripple profound waves of positive change in our lives and in the world around us.

• mindfulness •

throughout a vinyasa practice, we have the opportunity to cultivate mindfulness. on the mat we establish an intimate connection with the present moment by focusing on our breath and the movement of our bodies, noticing any thoughts, feelings, and sensations as they arise without judgment.

with practice, we can extend this awareness beyond our mats and into our daily lives, cultivating a compassionate relationship with self, nurturing self-awareness and acceptance, and empowering us to respond to the challenges of the modern world with a balanced perspective.

whether it's a 60 minute vinyasa class, a morning meditation or a walk in nature, mindfulness practices enrich our lives, inviting us to embrace the fullness of our existence.

• meet Brooke •

Brooke is a newly certified vinyasa teacher, and is looking forward to developing practices that are joyful, that challenge and build strength, and are woven with ancient and modern philosophy.

She has a deep love for learning and exploring new ideas, and for the peculiarities of the human experience.

Off the mat, you'll find her hanging with her two dogs, friends and family, engineering aircraft, reading, or enjoying time in nature (especially the beach).

• community •

we are thrilled to be a part of the community in Largs Bay, and to call the Kaurna Land of the Lefevre Peninsula home.

we hope to foster a yoga community where you feel welcome to stay for coffee/tea after practice, meet fellow yogis, and make new connections.

like many other locals we enjoy spending time in nature along the coast. as a way to connect with our local environment and with our local community, we will be hosting monthly beach cleans after a weekend practice where all are welcome.
