🧡 FQPL3 MEN – UPCOMING GAME DAY 🧡

Sunday afternoon football is coming up at Musgrave as our FQPL3 Men host Kingscliff Wolves FC in a big day of action! ⚽️🐎

After some encouraging performances in recent weeks, both our First Team and U23s will be looking to put their hard work into action and make home advantage count.

Friday night lights are calling, and our FQPL3 Women are ready for another big challenge as they welcome Kingscliff to Keith Hunt Park tonight! ⚽️🐎

With plenty of determination and home support behind them, the girls will be looking to put together another strong performance in what promises to be an entertaining contest.

🧡 FQPL3 MEN – MATCH RESULTS 🧡

Our FQPL3 Men were back on home soil for their catch-up fixtures against Coomera, with both squads showing plenty of determination and resilience throughout the night. ⚽️🐎

Our First Team continued to show the progress they've been building throughout the season, creating some exciting attacking opportunities and moving the ball well. The boys were unlucky not to find the scoresheet, rattling the crossbar, narrowly missing the inside of the post and forcing strong saves from the Coomera keeper. Despite their valiant efforts, the final score finished 4-0 in favour of Coomera.

⭐ Player of the Match: Lucas Taylor, making it two Player of the Match performances in the space of a week. A fantastic reward for his consistent effort and commitment. 👏

Our U23s faced a tough challenge, with a number of unlucky 50-50 balls falling kindly for Coomera, who made the most of their opportunities. The Mustangs continued to battle, and after some excellent high-pressure work from Timsy, a cut back found Mackenzie Lyon. Mackenzie showed great composure, wrong-footing a couple of defenders before finding the back of the net for Musgrave's goal. The match finished 6-1 in favour of Coomera.

🧡 Congratulations to Mackenzie Lyon and Cameron Stephen on their U23 debut appearances.

⭐ Player of the Match: Mackenzie Lyon, capping off his debut with a well-taken goal and a strong all-round performance.

While the results didn't go our way, there were plenty of positives to take from the night, with both squads continuing to grow and show great character. Thank you to our volunteers and supporters for getting behind the boys and creating a great atmosphere at Musgrave. 🧡🐎

It's a massive night at Musgrave as we host a FQPL3 Triple Header against Coomera in our catch-up fixtures! ⚽️🐎

After a disrupted few weeks of weather, our First Team, U23s and U16s are all back in action and ready to put on a show under the lights.

🧡 FQPL3 MEN – MATCH RESULTS 🧡

Our FQPL3 Men were back on home soil last Saturday as they hosted Bay in another big afternoon of football. ⚽️🐎

The First Team put in a determined performance, battling hard from the first whistle and showing plenty of grit in defence with some outstanding blocks and a committed team effort. The deadlock remained until the 80th minute, before Bay capitalised on their opportunities late in the game to take a 3-0 victory.

🧡 A special congratulations to Lucas Taylor, Ben Stinton and Harry Ho**er, who all made their FQPL3 First Team debuts. A fantastic achievement and one to be proud of!

⭐ Player of the Match: Lucas Taylor, who impressed in his debut performance with a composed and hardworking display.

Our U23s faced a tough challenge, conceding early and despite their determination and effort throughout the match, were unable to claw their way back, with the game finishing 5-0 in Bay's favour.

🧡 Congratulations to Lewis Pitt, Lee Cruse and Emmanuel Machile on making their U23 FQPL3 debuts. We look forward to watching their continued development throughout the season.

⭐ Player of the Match: Andres Ordonez Bolanos, whose effort and commitment stood out in a difficult contest for the side.

While the results didn't go our way, there were plenty of positives to take from the day, including several debut appearances and the commitment shown by both squads. Thank you to our volunteers and supporters who continue to get behind the boys each week – your support never goes unnoticed. 🐎🧡

How good was it to see our Mini Mustangs back out enjoying some sunshine over the weekend! ☀️⚽️

Despite a few squishy spots around the fields, the kids didn't mind one bit and were all smiles as they ran around, had a kick and enjoyed their games with their teammates. 🐎💦

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who make weekends like these possible. From our clubhouse and canteen volunteers to our coaches, managers, parents and supporters, your time, effort and encouragement help create such a positive environment for our Mini Mustangs to learn and love the game. We appreciate everything you do for our club! 🧡

After last Wednesday's fixture was washed out, our Div 3 Community Women are ready to get back on the pitch for their catch-up game tonight! ⚽️🐎

The girls hit the road to take on Ormeau at Norfolk Park, with kick-off set for 7:00pm. After a frustrating postponement due to the weather, the squad will be eager to make the most of their opportunity and put in a strong performance.

If you're in the area, head down and get behind the girls as they look to bring home the three points. Your support from the sidelines always makes a difference! 🧡
